Community Programming

 

 

Community Programming activities at Mission Meadows are a great opportunity to get out during the fall, winter, and spring months to enjoy an evening at camp and have fun at the Activity Center! Weekly activities include pickle-ball, rock climbing, open swim, lap swim, broom-ball (winter only, weather dependent), and ice skating (winter only, weather dependent). These activities are open to all, and great for everyone from families with kids on up to adults of all ages. (See description below.)



Pricing: $5/session OR punch card deal: 6 session punch card for $25, 12 session punch card for $50.

Descriptions:

Pickle-ball: Pickle-ball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles to hit a ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net.

 Rock Climbing: Rock climbing nights are open to all and are great for everyone from families with kids learning to climb to those who are more serious about their climbing training and fitness.

 Open Swim: Open Swim is a recreational swim time where individuals, families, and friends enjoy a fun time playing together in our pool and relaxing in the hot tub.

 Lap Swim: During lap swim the pool is divided into 3 swimming lanes for those interested in continuous lap swimming for fitness or recreation.

 Drop-in Hockey and Broomball: During the winter months, weather permitting, our sports pavillion rink will be open for people to drop in and play hockey or broomball. Nets and broomball gear provided, bring your own skates and hockey equipment.

 Open Skates: Open Skates are open to all. Bring your own skates and come enjoy the classic winter pastime of ice skating on our sports pavillion rink. Seasonal, weather permitting.
