In October, Mission Meadows launched its Legacy of Faith
Campaign to raise funds for facility maintenance and improvements. Our goal is
to raise $520,000 in three years, and we are well on our way! Last December, we
received a $20,000 grant to begin work on our first
project – remodeling the boys’ dorm. We have raised an additional $50,000 in seed money toward the launch of this campaign
and toward an exciting fundraising opportunity: a $150,000 matching grant. We have a foundation willing to offer matching grants of $50,000 for every
$100,000 we raise, up to a $150,000 match for $300,000 that we
raise. These $50,000 grants will be spread over 3 years but are only
payable as we reach $100,000 plateaus. The new facilities built at
Mission Meadows over the past twelve years provide great space for ministry to
take place, and thanks to faithful supporters like you and God’s provision,
these facilities are all paid for and camp is debt-free. We are planning
to stay in that positive financial position.
As a friend of Mission Meadows, will you consider what you can give now or over
the next three years toward the Legacy of Faith Campaign? Remember: every
dollar that you contribute is multiplied into an additional half dollar. So
not only is your initial contribution significant to us, but it will extend our
fundraising capabilities by 50 percent. We are thankful to God for you and for
this matching grant to enable us to embark on the next phase of improvements,
and of greater ministry, at Mission Meadows.
