S.A.L.T. Week: July 19 – 26, 2025
Cost: $150 Per Student
What is the S.A.L.T. Program?
The S.A.L.T. program is a new opportunity for high school students to come alongside the ministry of Mission Meadows for one additional week of the summer right after their senior high camp ends. This program is for students who are looking to dive deeper and challenge their faith in new ways as they learn to serve, lead, and disciple with a small group of 10-12 other students during this extended senior high experience.
During our service and leadership training (S.A.L.T.) week, youth will have the chance to:
Learn to Serve: Students will be serving alongside our staff in our day camp program that serves children in 1st through 6th grade! This opportunity will challenge the students to model a servant’s heart and learn how to serve well in many different capacities. Students will receive special training and certifications before serving in the day camp program that may aid them in future opportunities in their career or school.
Learn to Lead: During our time together this summer, students will learn what it looks like to lead in a Christ-like manner through games, activities, chapel, and devotionals. Students will dive into God’s character and their identity as a beloved child of God! Each student will have opportunities to join cabins for devotionals and even lead a devotional during the week for our overnight campers.
Learn to Disciple: The S.A.L.T. team will have the opportunity to reflect on how God has/and currently is working in their lives. Students will learn how to talk about their faith and share their stories with their families, friends, and communities.
Have Fun: While the S.A.L.T. Program is designed to equip young leaders, it will have plenty of traditional camp experiences in the mix to bond and grow community together here at camp!
This program is ideal for (but not limited to) campers who are considering applying to be summer staff at Mission Meadows in the future. The S.A.L.T. Program has limited spots available and students must apply to be considered.
To apply for this program, you must register and pay the $50 deposit to hold your spot, and fill out the application linked below. After receiving both your application and registration, our staff will be reaching out to let you know if you have been accepted to the S.A.L.T. Program. In the event that you are not accepted or spots are filled, you will receive your full deposit back.
